With over sixteen years in construction and sustainable building, Matthew has witnessed the industry’s evolution and helped shape its direction. His career has been driven by a simple truth: technical expertise alone doesn’t move an organization forward. That belief guides his work as Co-President and Co-Owner of Postech Screw Piles / Pieux Vistech. Ask him to define the company’s future in one word and he chooses growth, not only in numbers but in ideas, innovation, and community impact. “For us, growth isn’t just about more piles or bigger markets. It’s about strengthening our network, investing in innovation, and creating more value for our partners and communities.”
His leadership is built on clarity, accountability, data-driven decisions, and sustainable business practices. He believes strategies only work when they’re practical and when people at every level understand their purpose. “Our role at HQ is to make life easier for our network. To give them clear, useful tools that help them succeed.” He credits that perspective to the people around him who remind him every day that simplicity and consistency drive long-term success.
Yet behind his pragmatism is a strong current of passion. What excites Matthew most isn’t only the development of new products or technical breakthroughs, but the moment when an entrepreneur in the network takes an idea and turns it into an opportunity. “Innovation really shines when it moves from idea to action and helps both our network and our communities grow.”
At the Annual General Meeting, surrounded by peers from across the country, he sees collaboration at its best. The energy in the room, the exchange of ideas, and the motivation people bring back to their businesses remind him exactly why he loves what he does.
Outside the office, Matthew finds balance in simple joys: evenings with family and friends, and travel that recharges his creativity and perspective.
He often shares a line from Robin Williams that he carries with him: “You’re only given a little spark of madness. You mustn’t lose it.” For Matthew, that spark represents curiosity, courage, and the drive to keep seeing the world and business differently.
