FAQ

Questions We Hear Every Day

Cost depends on the number of piles, pile diameter, site conditions, and your region. A standard residential deck (6 to 10 piles) typically runs from $1,500 to $4,500 installed. The only accurate number comes from a site-specific quote. Get a free quote.

Yes, for most residential and light commercial applications. Every Postech screw pile is torque-verified during installation, so load capacity is confirmed in the field on each pile. Concrete footings offer no equivalent in-field check. See the full comparison.

Most residential projects are completed in one day by a two-person certified crew, and you can typically build the same day. Concrete requires excavation, forming, pouring, and a cure period of at least 24 to 48 hours before loading.

Postech piles are hot-dip galvanized as part of the engineering specification, not as an afterthought. The zinc coating bonds metallurgically to the steel to resist corrosion over the life of the structure. The coating is matched to your site's soil. See product specs.

Yes. Unlike concrete, screw pile installation is not weather-dependent. Certified Postech installers work year-round, including in frozen ground, because piles are driven well below the frost line. Surface frost does not stop installation.
