Postech Screw Piles Inc. ("Postech," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect when you use postechpiles.com (the "Website") or contact us, how we use and share it, how we protect it, and the rights you have.
This Policy is designed to meet Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), Quebec's Act Respecting the Protection of Personal Information in the Private Sector (Law 25), and, where it applies, the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
By using the Website, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
2. What information we collect
Information you give us directly. When you fill out a quote request, contact form, dealership inquiry, or Lunch & Learn or resource-download form, or when you email us, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, postal or ZIP code, company name (where relevant), and any project details you choose to share.
Information we collect automatically. When you visit the Website, we automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser type and version, device type, operating system, pages visited, time spent, and the site you came from. We collect this through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 5).
Information we do not collect. We do not collect payment card numbers through the Website. We do not seek sensitive personal information such as health data, ethnic or racial origin, political or religious beliefs, or government identification numbers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14.
3. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to your quote request, inquiry, or application, and connect you with a certified Postech dealer in your area.
- Prepare estimates and follow up on your project or request.
- Send you communications related to your request, and, where you have consented, occasional updates.
- Operate, secure, analyze, and improve the Website.
- Meet legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Our legal bases (where GDPR applies)
Where GDPR applies, we rely on: your consent; the performance of steps taken at your request before entering a contract (for example, preparing an estimate); our legitimate interests in operating and improving our business; and compliance with legal obligations.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to run the Website, remember your preferences, measure traffic, and improve performance. Categories include strictly necessary, functional, analytics, and advertising.
Where required, including under Quebec Law 25 and GDPR, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies, and you can change your choices at any time through the consent banner. You can also control cookies through your browser settings.
6. How we share your information
We share personal information only as needed to serve you and run our business:
- Certified Postech dealers. When you submit a quote or project request, we share the details necessary to serve you with the certified Postech dealer or dealers in your area, so they can contact you and prepare an estimate.
- Service providers. We use trusted providers for website hosting, form processing, email delivery, call tracking, and analytics, who may process personal information on our behalf under contract.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information where required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
- Business transfers. If Postech is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
7. Where your information is processed
Some of our service providers may store or process personal information outside your province or country, including in [the United States and elsewhere]. Where information is transferred outside Quebec or Canada, or outside the EEA where GDPR applies, we take steps intended to give it a comparable level of protection, including contractual safeguards.

These include access controls, encryption in transit, controlled office access, backups. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your rights and choices

- Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Withdraw consent, or ask us to stop or limit certain uses.
- Ask us to delete your information, or, under Law 25, to de-index certain information, subject to legal exceptions.

- Unsubscribe from any marketing communications at any time.

You also have the right to complain to a regulator, including the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec, or your local data protection authority.
